(b) Players should be seated at the tables 15 minutes before the session starts.

(c) The tea break for the afternoon sessions should be at 2pm approximately. The tea break for the morning sessions should be at 10.15am approximately.

Time allowed for rounds:

(a) Will depend on the number of boards per round:

  • 2 boards per round - 13 minutes
  • 3 boards per round - 19 minutes
  • 4 boards per round - 25 minutes

(b) If no one at the table has made a bid by the time the warning bell sounds, then the board should not be played.

Blue, Green and Red systems are permitted at all sessions except the Friday morning session when only Blue or Green systems will be permitted.

Sit outs: Should be limited to a maximum of three boards if possible.
Late play of boards: The late play of a board is to be discouraged unless no player has looked at their cards and no one was to blame for not being able to play the board eg a player arrived late for a session due to unforseen circumstances.
Scoring:

(a) The directors should check the data entry input against the printout before uploading results to the web or posting them on the notice board.

(b) The time period for data entry corrections will be until the tea break at the same session one week later.
